Erin is originally from Lincoln, Nebraska. She graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School. Erin earned a Bachelor of Science in physical education with an emphasis in athletic training from Morningside College in 1999.

Erin is a familiar face in the St. Francis Acceleration gym. She has received training at the Frappier Acceleration Sports Training site in Fargo, North Dakota in administration of the Acceleration protocols. Erin came to St. Francis from Coffeyville Junior College where she was head women's softball coach and assistant athletic trainer. Erin puts her athletic training skills to use as an outreach athletic trainer providing school/game coverage and triage/treatment of acute athletic injuries.
