     Katie McLallen graduated in December of 1999 from Iowa State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Services.  After spending a year working as a classroom aide in an alternative high school, she went back to school and earned first her Masters in Education and then Specialist in Education in the area of School Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa.  She worked as a School Psychologist for the Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency until her move to Missouri in 2007, where she spent the next two years working for the St. Joseph School District as a Special Education Process Consultant.  In April of 2009, the Maryville-based ACES was awarded a grant that allowed for the hiring of a School Psychologist, and Katie was hired for the 2009-2010 school year. 
     Katie and her fiancée live in Savannah.

Krista VonBehren is an outpatient counselor at St. Francis Hospital & Health Services. For 16 years, Krista was a social worker at the hospital. She advanced her education in 2006 to a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri. After two years of supervision work, she achieved her licensed clinical social worker creditial in 2008.

     Gary Hillebrand is a Prevention Specialist with Preferred Family Healthcare primarily serving the nine counties in Northwest Missouri.  Gary provides specific technical assistance and training to various community coalitions.  He also has over twenty years experience in the field of Mental Health that includes: Educational Coordination/ Prevention Consultation & Training / Motivational Interviewing Trainer / Conflict Management - Anger Management Consultant / Peer Assistance Educator / Public Speaking (small groups as well as state and national conferences).  Gary is a Missouri Advanced Certified Substance Abuse Prevention Professional (MACSAPP) through the Missouri Substance Abuse Professional Credentialing Board.
    
As a Prevention Specialist, Gary provides specific, community coalition development programs and trainings to a nine county region in NW Missouri.  Also, he has twenty years experience in the field of Mental Health that includes: Prevention Consultation & Training / Motivational Interviewing Trainer / Conflict Management - Anger Management Consultant / Peer Assistance Educator / Public Speaking (small groups as well as state and national conferences).  Currently serves as a Board member and past Board President of the St. Joseph Youth Alliance / Co-Chair of the Northwest Tobacco Prevention Coalition / member of Buchanan County’s Community Drug Council / and Project HOPE Policy Team, St. Joseph.  Prior to Mental Health, Gary worked for over ten years in Health Care / Hospital administration.
    
Gary lives in Kansas City with his wife, Nancy (Caring Communities Coordinator with LINC).  They have two adult children and two grandchildren.
