St. Francis Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the 22nd Annual Tobin Benefit Golf Classic will be held Thursday, May 24, and Friday, May 25, at Mozingo Lake Golf Course. The Tee-Off Social and Reception will be held Thursday evening, May 24, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Maryville Country Club.
This year’s tournament will raise funds for equipment needs of the St. Francis Family Health Care and the anticoagulation (Coumadin) clinic. New exam tables including a geriatric exam table will be purchased for Family Health Care with a new refrigeration unit planned for the anticoagulation clinic. With over 30 physicians now available at St. Francis Family Health Care’s medical clinic the purchase of new exam tables will benefit over 72,000 patients seen annually by the physicians.
The Tobin Benefit Golf Classic is an 18-hole, four-person scramble with shot-gun starts at the two tee times, Thursday at 12:30 p.m. or Friday at 8:30 a.m. The Tobin Golf Committee invites golfers, sports enthusiasts, and volunteers to join them as they celebrate this 22nd event. The 2011 tournament raised over $29,000 and the Committee hopes to top last year’s success.
